Octopus with eggs
A female octopus will meticulously care for her eggs until the baby octopus hatch sometime between a few weeks to 10 months, depending on the particular octopus species. She will constantly blow oxygenated water across the grape-like strands of eggs using her siphon in order to keep them clean. She never leaves the den, foregoing the opportunity to feed, in order to protect the octopus eggs.

Wild dolphins silhouette underwater photograph
Rarely do I ever enter the water to play and swim with dolphins with a camera in my hands for it distracts from these amazing encounters. In the hopes of capturing a little bit of the beauty of these encounters to share with others I decided to take my camera with me and lady luck allowed me this magnificent opportunity to capture my favorite photograph ever.
